August 22, 2010 Colton Osborn Wins Over-Exciting Stock Car Feature It was the final night of the season for Dawson County Raceway in Lexington, and the drivers came out to race hard to the finish. Some might have raced too hard, which caused hard feelings after the races. David Murray, Jr. of Oberlin, Kansas, Colton Osborn of Cozad, Shane Stout of North Platte, and Anthony Martin of Wilcox had no hard feelings, but they also had the feature wins. Murray, Mike Nichols of Harlan, Iowa, Osborn, and Jim Buss of Blue Hill also earned track championships in their respective divisions.

August 15, 2010 Herbert Holds Trophy at Dawson County Raceway The temperature felt about twenty degrees cooler than the previous week at Dawson County Raceway, but the racing excitement bubbled over the boiling point Sunday night. The United Rebel Sprint Series again help heat up the show for their third and final visit of the year. Brian Herbert of Dodge City, Kansas, David Murray of Oberlin, Kansas, Mike Nichols of Harlan, Iowa, Allen Halte of Grand Island, and Colton Osborn of Cozad were hot, as they steamed their ways to the A Feature wins.

August 8, 2010 Colton Osborn Has Good Night at Dawson County Raceway It was a hot, sticky evening at Dawson County Raceway on August 8, but the fans hung around to watch some good racing on Fan Appreciation night. It was also a tribute night to Jeremy Trompke, a friend and pit man for many of the drivers from the Kearney and Gibbon area who passed away on July 29, and his family was on hand to award the trophies for the night’s A Feature winners. David Murray, Jr. of Oberlin, Kansas, Colton Osborn of Cozad, Casey Werkmeister of Maywood, and Lonnie Greuter of Grand Island were the recipients of those trophes.

The temperature was comfortable for everyone, the track was fast, and most of the drivers avoided major incidents, which aided in the show being completed in just a little over two-and-a-half hours. July 18, 2010 Racing Action Plentiful at Dawson County Raceway During Fair With features to be made up from July 11 and a draw-redraw event for the regular show for the four classes made for plenty of action for the fans that came to watch the races during the Dawson County Fair. The United Rebel Sprint Series was in town, and with the regular four classes, there was a full night of racing to be enjoyed by the fans.
