Super Late Model Racing Series comes to Lexington This Sunday!
The biggest night of racing action for the 2012 season at Dawson County Raceway in Lexington, Nebraska is set to go ballistic this Sunday night, July 8th, with the visit of the Super Late Model Racing Series (SLMR) getting their first taste of the 3/8 mile oval on the Dawson County Fairgrounds.
The SLMR racecars put on a whale of a show last year before Mother Nature halted the racing action, and the late models from across the Midwest look to bring the thunder and lighting to Lexington once again, along with the IMCA Modifieds, North Sport Mods, Stock Cars and Hobby Stocks.
Prior to getting the racing action started at Dawson County Raceway, there will be live music played by ‘4 Roads Home’ starting at 5 p.m., when the gates open. Hot Laps are set for 5:45 p.m. and racing action is slated to see the green flag drop at 6:30 p.m.
The Nebraska Corn Growers and Nebraska Corn Board assist in bringing you the Late Model featured event at Dawson County Raceway.
Admission price is $20 for adults, $10 for kids age 6-12 and age five and under get in free. Pit passes are $25.
Live music, great food, fireworks and ‘where only the best, go three abreast’ racing this weekend, come out to Dawson County Raceway and be with the majority of avid race fans.
