URSS Sprint Cars set to invade Dawson County Raceway
Feeling the thunder and seeing the lightning will be possible as the Dawson County Raceway in Lexington, Nebraska hosts the United Rebel Sprint Series (URSS) on Sunday night, June 8th along with the regular scheduled IMCA divisions of Modifieds, Northern Sport Mods, Stock Cars and Hobby Stocks. Gates open at 5 p.m. with the drop of the green flag at 6:30 p.m. The URSS’s lone visit to Dawson County Raceway for the 2014 season is a regional race for both the Kansas and Colorado divisions; the competition to take home the checkered flag will be a heated-battle. “The URSS drivers absolutely love Dawson County Raceway. Its big, fast and always prepped well,” expressed URSS promotor Rick Salem. “Drivers from Kansas, Colorado and Nebraska are planning on being in Lexington on Sunday. Admission will be $15 for adults, $8 for kids ages 6-12 and age 5 and under are free. Pit passes will remain at $25 for each entry
